Top 7 Finalists Announced for SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards at Echelon 2025
We are thrilled to announce the Top 7 finalists who have made it to the final stage of the SAFE STEPS D-Tech Awards 2025, created by Prudence Foundation and supported by strategic partners the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Amazon Web Services (AWS), United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI), and e27 for its 2025 edition.
SAFE STEPS D-Tech is a global platform that finds, funds, and supports innovative technology solutions that help save lives before, during, and after disaster events. The initiative is part of Prudence Foundation’s broader mission to build safer, more resilient communities across Asia and Africa.
This year, the competition focuses on two critical themes:
On 11 June 2025, the finalists will present their innovations live in Echelon 2025 Singapore, Asia’s leading tech conference. The D-Tech Awards Finals event will also be streamed online on Prudence Foundation platforms, giving global audiences a chance to witness the next wave of disaster resilience technology.
A panel of industry, investment, and humanitarian experts will evaluate the finalists, and winners will be awarded cash prizes from pool of USD150k in value.

The Climate Risk Model & Analytics (CRMA) platform by YoujiVest is an AI-powered SaaS solution that predicts, quantifies, and mitigates climate-induced health risks. LookOut Wildfire Detection SaaS is an AI-powered early detection and alert system for wildfires. Compatible with existing cameras, smartphones, and webcams, it offers rapid deployment, accurate detection, and real-time alerts. The solution fosters collaboration between governments, responders, and communities, enhancing wildfire preparedness and prevention.

DASTAA is a modular platform that empowers governments, humanitarian agencies, and communities to implement proactive disaster management through household-level risk assessments, early warning systems, and anticipatory action planning.
