According to the World Health Organisation, climate change affects the social and environmental determinants of health including clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food, and secure shelter. Reducing emissions of greenhouse gases through decarbonisation efforts can result in improved health, particularly through reduced air pollution. 

To better understand the impacts of climate change on air quality and its associated health impacts, we commissioned the Earth Observatory of Singapore (an institute of Nanyang Technological University) to conduct a two-year, two-phase study, covering 10 of our markets in Asia and Africa.
